The North Star, aka Polaris, is famous for appearing motionless while the entire northern sky journeys around it. The North Star marks the way due north. It is the point of navigation we have used for thousands of years. It has guided sailors across the seas, explorers through the deserts, and slaves to freedom in America. Yet, it is not the brightest star in the sky. The North Star instead shines with a sense of humility while serving as a compass for all who seek it. This is the essence of leadership. This is the humble but bold philosophy of the Center for Police Leadership & Ethics International.
To be the nation’s premier training and education provider integrating leadership and relationship building across the international public safety community.
